My son is getting bullied in school. Should I step in and confront the parent or is that out of line?

Im in love with my best friend, and i thought he might love me back. he treated me like i was special, like he loved me. But now im not sure. Im not on his team in school this year, and gradualy he has made a lot of new friends, most of which are girls :p one in particular really seems to like him, and is stealing everything i have with him. she walks with him in the halways and before school,(Me and him usually do that together)i walk with them, but she keeps trying to pull his attention to herself, and it makes me feel bad. Shes also trying to get in on our jokes and stuff, and shes joining all the after school clubs we do together. Shes with him every chance she gets AND IT ANNOYS ME SOOO MUCH! Im afraid im loosing my best friend/love to other girls... what if he forgets me? What do I do?
